I began my year with a goal for myself, that I would start to read the bible from the beginning and read all the way thru it! I went out and got me a new bible and I have to say, I'm very proud of myself! I try to spend 30min to an hour every morning reading my bible and my devotional and praying.It makes such a difference to me in how my day goes when I spend my morning with our Lord than when I don't.
On to baby news: We had our 3rd IUI procedure done this past Monday (Feb 6th) 3rd times a charm right?? I want to thank each and every one of you that lifted David and I up in prayer, and those that continue to do so! We will not know anything for a while, and once it is safe to tell everyone we will share the great news!!!
I was reading a friends blog yesterday, and she spoke about how all the trials that she has had to go thru to get her miracle baby, and how it has led her closer to our Lord and Savior, so that she could be the best mother she could be!!
I truly believe this is also the case with David and I, that within our struggle we have gotten closer to our Lord and I believe that it is God's way of grooming us to be the Godly parents to our child or children that he wants us to be. We can not wait to have a child that we can teach to them about God's unfailing love, and what he has done for all mankind.
If any of you knew me you would already know that I have a fascination with the sky- I love looking up and seeing what the Lord has painted for us that day!! Below are a couple of pictures that I have taken of the Sky's this year!
On this past Monday before my appt I had sent a prayer request out to some friends and such- a Friend of mine Kacey sent me this photo in a text with this- "I literally was just lifting u up in prayer looking at this sky and picked up my phone to take the pic and saw ur text! :)" the Lord works in so very different ways- I'm certain this was a sign!!
As I was leaving for the appt on Monday I looked up as I was getting into my car and I saw this sky! To me it looks like a quilted blanket....I'm certain this is a sign as well!
In this week I have gotten 2 pictures by text from my friend Haley- She is truly one of the most selfless people I have ever known! She sees everyone for their insides and not the outside! I just love her!!!These are the skies she sent me this week!! Again....I'm certain these are signs from our Father in Heaven!
This next week is Valentines day!! David and I are not much on V-Day we will just go to dinner and he will send me flowers....but this year....he bought me a plane ticket!!!!
He will be out in California for about 3 weeks for work, and since I have never been out there he is flying me out on the 16th and I fly home on the 19th!!! I'm so super excited for this trip!! I have the best husband in the world!!!!
