Yesterday was a very hard day yesterday. Wasn't sure why but during my devotional time with our Lord I began to cry- and not just a lil bit....this was full on bawling. I had this feeling like the devil was trying to attack me and but doubt in my mind that our test on Monday will be negative and we will have to try again to have our sweet baby.
As this was happening I was praying hard, and felt compelled to ask others to pray with me at that time. I sent a text out to a handful of people- and I would have never imagined the out pour of love and comfort that I know the Lord had placed in my friends and family to help comfort me during the day yesterday.
I wanted to share with you some of the text and things people told me- I truly believe this is the Lord at work, he has placed these people in my life for a reason and I could not be more blessed by our Lord to have them in my life!!!
I'm not going to list all of them because there is just too many to put on here-
My Friend Lindsay said- "I ban the devil from your mind in Jesus name.I pray that the Lord gives you strength and that His will, will be served. Amen!"
My friend Amber said- "Just take a deep breath. GOD is with you!"
My sister in-law Darrlene said- "I will pray. Love you and hope your day gets better." Then she wrote back and told me to ignore the devil, he is stupid. LOL this gave me a laugh
My friend Trish (She is also married to my cousin John)said- "I will...I was just thinking about 2 Corinthians 1:3 He is the God of all comfort :)"
My mom has been checking in on me ever so often since yesterday- reminding me that I'm very much loved and prayed for. I can not express how wonderful my mother is!!
I have a friend Morgon, we used to live in the same apartment complex, we went to church together. Even though she moved back up into the panhandle of Texas I still consider her a good friend. If I have ever needed prayers or encouragement I know I can always look to her. So yesterday I sent her a message asking for prayers and told her what I was feeling. She passed along my prayer request to her Aunt Carolyn. Morgon says that she is her prayer worrier- Her aunt without ever meeting me wrote out a prayer for me and Morgon sent this to me. I wanted to share this with you- just shows how wonderful our Lord and Savior truly is!!
Randi, I have a couple of suggestions for you as one woman to another. Cultivate your inner beauty the gentle gracious kind that God delights in I Peter 3:4. The other is search for the Lord and for His strength; continually seek Him I Chronicles 16:11. Get into God’s word every day and let Him strengthen your inner woman and calm you. Cry out to Him. He is your daddy and He is passionately in pursuit of a personal and intimate relationship with you . He loves you deeply and His heart aches for you at this time. Delight yourself in Him and He will bring peace and joy to you.Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you reach down and take Randi from the many waters that threaten to overtake her and deliver her from the strong enemy who hates her. He is too strong for her right now. He has confronted her in a day that she is tired and weak. But you, God are her support. Bring her out into a broad and spacious place(a place that has breathing room) because you are delighted in her. Ps. 18:16-19.The Lord is Randi’s shepherd¸ she will not want. He makes green pastures for her to lie down in. He will lead her beside still waters and He will restore her soul. He leads her in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.(You are his namesake) Even though you might walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Randi should not fear any
evil. He is with you, Randy every painful step of your journey. His rod and His staff are symbols of His protection and provision for you. They are to be a source of comfort to
you. God’s ability too prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (satan and all his lies) shows His willingness and his capability to provide and protect you. He anoints your head with oil, this is he blessings he has for you. Your cup runs over with the blessings He has for you. Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. This is the expectation that because of the grace of God, there will be a continued and ongoing intimate fellowship with your savior. I truly hope that these prayers for you straight from God’s word will be a true inspiration from God, because He certainly wants you to be inspired. You inspire Him and never forget that. He know the plans He has for you. They are to prosper you and not harm you. Jeremiah 29:11 God bless you and your little family. Don’t be afraid, God’s plans are for the very best for you. Just trust Him. He gave all He had for you because of love, you can trust Him with this. February 13, 2012
I think with every text or message I received from everyone, I did not make it thru the first few words with out starting to cry- I'm so humbled by this and stand humbled in front of our Lord! I know that whatever the result is on Monday that I'm going to be comforted by our wonderful comforting Lord Savior Jesus Christ!
