Last weekend we kept our nephew Brady for a night! Oh what fun we had!!! We went to our niece Spencer's softball game and took Brady with us when we left...you should have seen him get his bag out of his car and carry it to mine...such a lil man!!! We had lunch with my Mom (MiMi) and my step-dad (Poppy-David) at Logan's where he and Uncle David had a race on who could finish their lunch first.....Brady was too funny the way he was trying to eat his macaroni fast so Uncle David could not get it....then it was off to the store for groceries....I thought David was a picky eater....not compared to Brady man! LOL
Once we got home Brady and David started to play the Wii.....and we have come to learn that our sweet Nephew is quite a Wii-aholic! LOL and does not like to lose (but what 3 year old does?) So they played and played and played all night!! Then it was time for bath....Brady informed me he wanted to take a shower! :-( when did he get so big?? Then we blew up the airmattress in the living room and put on Cars for him to watch...we all laid in the living room watching it with him until he fell asleep-
Next morning I came to find out that he is a LOT like his father....not a morning person at ALL!!! After breakfast and such Uncle David and him were back at it playing the Wii! Then I decided it was time for a break and we went to the playground that is behind our house in our sub-division and played for a little bit! After we went to McDonald's for lunch- then off to one of my really good friend Lindsay's house for her daughter's birthday party....then time to take him home :-(
Overall I think we all had a pretty good time! Defiantly makes us want a child even more now! LOL But I know that God has a plan for us and I can't rush things- I have to wait for his perfect timing to come and one day he will bless our family with a child!
