Egg retrieval day!!

Wow, what a 24 hours it has been!! Lol

We were on our way to the Dr's office and I look up at the sky, and anyone who knows me knows that a beautiful sky is a sign from God to me that everything will be just fine! This is what I saw!
I was put at peace instantly!

We arrived at the Dr's office around 10:00, an they got me back and my IV started and everything going.
As you can see I was ready!! Lol I'm no way superstitious, I just like doing funny things, so as I was getting ready yesterday I put on 2 different socks just for fun....
One for a girl and one for a boy! Lol we have always sai we would like boy/girl twins so we could be done with trying!

They came back to get me around 11:15, they had to get me all prepped and ready and right before Dr Nackly was to go in and get the eggs, that is when they would push the IV sedation drugs, this way my eggs would not be exposed to the drugs very much.

I had a pretty good nap, and when I woke, I asked the anesthesiologist an nurse if they would pray with me, and they did, they actually prayed over me, this was by far the best thing!!

After I was done in recovery, they walked us to talk with the embryologist, they were able to get 11 eggs!!

I was pretty out of it and in some pain for the most part if yesterday. But I want to thank everyone who called, texted, messaged me!! I did get them (even if I had to go back and re-read some of them today! Lol

They called me this morning as said that out of the 11 they got yesterday, they were able to inject the sperm into 9 of the eggs, out of the 9, 6 fertilized normally!! She said they expect 1/2 or so to make it to be able to transfer into me, or be frozen, I praying it is more than 1/2!!!

She said she would call me on Sunday to let me know how they are growing! Our embryo transfer is set for Tuesday at 9:15!!

Please join us in prayer that the majority of the 6 make it to Tuesday, and that the ones they transfer into me stick in the best possible spot in my uterus, and are able to get all the nourishment they need, and are covered and protected by our merciful Hevenly Father for 9 months, that I get to deliver our babies, alive, with hearts full of love for Christ, healthy and happy. That we are able to raise them to know all about their Heavenly Father thy sent them to us, to complete our family!!

Thank you all again for all the prayers, messages, encouraging words!!! You are the best!!!

God bless.

  1. Congratulations on so much going so well so far. :) I will pray your little ones make it to transfer day (more than half) and that those who go in stick to the perfect spot and grow until they are perfect and ready to come out!!
