The babies are where they belong!!

So yesterday was the big day!!! They ended up having to move my appt up because my Dr had to do a surgery at 9am!!

We say down with the embryologist and she went over all 6 of our embryo's for us, 2 of them sadly stopped growing after Sunday :-( 2 are still borderline and they said they would call me today with the report of if they could freeze them or had to discard them.

But they did implant 2!! Here are their first photos!!
The one in the middle is the one they used, and this one is the better one if the two they transferred.
The picture in the middle is the one they transferred!! This one needed a little help "hatching" before it was transferred.

Everything went really smoothly! Let me tell you...Valium is pretty amazing stuff!! Lol helped me stay nice and relaxed!!

Here is the picture of our babies after the transfer when they are back in their mommy!! David is pointing at them, the small round dot in the middle....that is them! Lol they are so cute already!! Lol

I went home and stayed in bed all day...David got me everything I needed, he is so sweet and such an amazing husband!!! He has been my rock through this whole thing, putting up with my crazy mood swings and all, could not have asked for a better hubby!!

Now we just wait and trust that this is all God's plan for us to become parents!!

Please join us in prayer for goo solid attachment of both embryo's to the perfect spots on my uterus wall, that they get all the nourishment they need, covered, protected, unhindered and unharmed for the next 9 months! That I deliver our babies, with hearts full if Christ love, alive, healthy and happy!!

I will go in Thanksgivig morning for my blood test and will know by that afternoon if we are pregnant!!

Pretty perfect day if you ask me, this will not only be another thing to e so thankful for, but it is my oldest brothers birthday, as well as my best friend Jessica's birthday, if you don't know she passed away in '07 and I feel she had a hand in with God bringing David and I together!!

I will update when I can!!

God Bless,

Pretty awesome phone call from the Dr's office!!

We just got off the phone with the Doctor's office with an update on our babies!!! All 6 are still growing as they should be!!!!!

She said that they needed to be between 6-8 cells at this time...well as the overachievers I would imagine them to be, we have a 7 cell, 8 cell, 9 cell, and 3 10 cell!!!! She said that some may stop growing past this day.

But, I'm not sure she knows our amazing Heavenly Father!! He can do anything!! I refuse to let this negative talk take away this joy God has placed in my heart!! I was almost in tears when she was telling us this!!

God is so much bigger than this!! Whatever His will is, will be done!! I will love Him, praise Him and trust Him the whole way through!!! He is so mighty and merciful and full of amazing grace!! I'm on cloud 9!!

Please continue to keep us and all 6 of these precious babies in your prayers!! Tuesday is the big day for us!! I'm pretty excited to be getting the pictures of these God given miracles!!

God bless,

Egg retrieval day!!

Wow, what a 24 hours it has been!! Lol

We were on our way to the Dr's office and I look up at the sky, and anyone who knows me knows that a beautiful sky is a sign from God to me that everything will be just fine! This is what I saw!
I was put at peace instantly!

We arrived at the Dr's office around 10:00, an they got me back and my IV started and everything going.
As you can see I was ready!! Lol I'm no way superstitious, I just like doing funny things, so as I was getting ready yesterday I put on 2 different socks just for fun....
One for a girl and one for a boy! Lol we have always sai we would like boy/girl twins so we could be done with trying!

They came back to get me around 11:15, they had to get me all prepped and ready and right before Dr Nackly was to go in and get the eggs, that is when they would push the IV sedation drugs, this way my eggs would not be exposed to the drugs very much.

I had a pretty good nap, and when I woke, I asked the anesthesiologist an nurse if they would pray with me, and they did, they actually prayed over me, this was by far the best thing!!

After I was done in recovery, they walked us to talk with the embryologist, they were able to get 11 eggs!!

I was pretty out of it and in some pain for the most part if yesterday. But I want to thank everyone who called, texted, messaged me!! I did get them (even if I had to go back and re-read some of them today! Lol

They called me this morning as said that out of the 11 they got yesterday, they were able to inject the sperm into 9 of the eggs, out of the 9, 6 fertilized normally!! She said they expect 1/2 or so to make it to be able to transfer into me, or be frozen, I praying it is more than 1/2!!!

She said she would call me on Sunday to let me know how they are growing! Our embryo transfer is set for Tuesday at 9:15!!

Please join us in prayer that the majority of the 6 make it to Tuesday, and that the ones they transfer into me stick in the best possible spot in my uterus, and are able to get all the nourishment they need, and are covered and protected by our merciful Hevenly Father for 9 months, that I get to deliver our babies, alive, with hearts full of love for Christ, healthy and happy. That we are able to raise them to know all about their Heavenly Father thy sent them to us, to complete our family!!

Thank you all again for all the prayers, messages, encouraging words!!! You are the best!!!

God bless.

More of an exciting appointment today!!

Back to the Dr's office I went today...starting to feel like I live there! Lol

They did a sonogram and more blood work. Everything is looking good and right on target of what it should be! My uterine lining was 7.77, the nurse told me I should go buy a lotto ticket!! Lol with one of my last ectopic pregnancies my friend Kacey told me that 7 is a biblical number, so 3 in a row has to be good right?

The song "Home" by Phillip Phillips has always had a special meaning to me. Last week, on 2 different stations I heard it within an hour! I feel God's presence every time I hear it. With that being said, as I was put back in the room for the sonogram, this song was playing!! I started praising our amazing Lord and Savior right there in that little room, with my pants off and a paper napkin covering myself!! Lol God doesn't care what you look like when you praise Him, just as long as you do!! Lol

My blood work came back great! So tonight at 11:15pm I will have David give me my trigger shot, tomorrow at 6:45am I will be back at the Dr's office for them to do blood work to make sure my body absorbed the medication properly. Then, Thursday we will have to be at the office by 10:15 and they will start my IV and at 11:15 they will put me under while they go in and retrieve all the eggs in both my ovaries!! After that they will fertilize them and keep them in the incubator, and with God's grace and merciful hands over all if this, we will have our embryo transfer on the 19th!!

I'm not that anxious (and anyone who knows me, knows this is such a blessing in itself!) I ask for prayers, that the embryo's attach to the perfect spot in my uterus, that we get a good healthy pregnancy that last the full 9 months, that I deliver our babies alive, healthy, happy and with hearts full of love for our amazing Heavenly Father!

I can not thank you all enough for all the encouraging words you have sent to me, and the prayers, they all mean more to me than you know!! Thank you all so very very much!!

God Bless,
Randi

Blood work and sonogram appointment today

Hi there!!

So I went in today for a sonogram to see how many follicles I have growing, and estrogen blood work!

We right now have 4 follicles in my right ovary and 7 in my left!! My left side has always been the dominant side through all 6 rounds of IUI, so no big surprise there lol! They are all around the same size so that us a really good sign, that way they can all continue to grown. She said my uterine lining looks great, and right where it needs to be! She also said that she thinks I will have my egg retrieval either next Wednesday or Thursday, she will not know for sure until my Monday appointment.

She called me this afternoon and said my estrogen levels are rising beautifully and it is now at 103 (it was 38 on Tuesday)

I'm to keep with my same dosage on my medications- 10 units Lupron, 300 Follistem and 150 of Menopur!

We go back on Saturday for another blood test and sono!! Please pray that my body keeps reacting the way it should to the medications and all the follicles keep growing at the same rate and keep getting bigger so they will all be mature when they go in to get them next week.
Please also pray for strength and peace for David and I, and that my stress level stays minimum!

I will update again Saturday after our appointment!! Thank you all so very much for all your continued prayers through this! It truly means more to us than you know!!

Blood work appointment today!

Hi there! Quick update-

I went in for my blood work today to check my estrogen levels- last Friday they were around 22 or so (I think)  and today they are at 38. I will keep with the same dosage with my medications- 300 units of Follistem, 150 or Menopur and 10  of the Lupron.

I go back on Thursday for a sonogram and bloodwork!

Please keep a dear friend of mine in your prayers and they are dealing with a blighted ovum. This is such a hard thing to go thru, praying for strength and healing for them, as they are going to do her D&C on Thursday.

Please continue to also keep us, and another friend of mine who is also going thru IVF at the same time as me, we are just about a day apart in our cycle!! Pray that our bodies react the way they are supposed to with the medications and we will be pregnant with good healthy pregnancies by Thanksgiving, and deliver our babies in 9 months, alive, happy, healthy and hearts full of love for our amazing God!!

I will update after my appt on Thursday!

God Bless,

Quick update!

So I went today for my baseline sonogram and bloodwork, they were just mainly making sure there are no abnormalities in my uterus or ovaries.

Everything looks great!! I just got word back from the Dr's office and my blood work came back great! So tomorrow my Lupron will go from 20 units down to 10. I will start 300 units of Follistem and 150 units of Menopur. These 2 medications stimulate my ovaries so they produce more than just one egg. The number I would like them to be able to get is around 15 and all of them be mature, fertilize and grow to be able to either freeze or transfer. But I will be happy with whatever God provides for us, and thank Him and praise Him for everything big and small!!!

It is funny, until someone asks about the cycle, or how I'm doing...I'm not focusing all of my energy or attention on this IVF cycle. I have been trying to keep my focus mainly on God, and I just keep seeking Him, because at the end of the day, He already knows the outcome of this, He already knows how it will all end. So, I just keep my focus on Him, and let Him take care of the rest!

If you know me, you know that this peace I feel is a blessing in itself!

Thank you for your continued prayers!! I go back to the Dr on Tuesday for another blood test!! I will update after I know what comes next!!

God bless,
Randi
