Man, what a 2 weeks it has been since surgery!! First few days were a little rough, then I bounced back pretty well lol!
Dr. Nackley did a Laparoscopy to remove the para tubal cyst. It was a pretty big bugger if you ask me lol! It also had a calcified mass under it that she also removed. It was positioned between my ovary and tube- so may have been "smooshing" things in that area lol. She did some looking around on the outside just to see how everything else looked, she was pretty pleased with the way everything looked, she said I have a pretty pelvis lol, she is not the first Dr to tell me this....Dr Howell (my normal OBGYN) did my first laparoscopy back in 2001 and he said the same thing lol. She then went in and started the hysteroscopy were she shaved down the septum, how the other Dr missed this is really beyond me....but I will just leave that alone lol. She was really pleased by the way my uterus "plumped up" once she was all finished...and when I look at the photos of the before and after.....I would have to agree with her on this!! WOW!! What a difference it made in how it looked!!!! The whole thing took about an hour or more, and all I wanted was food, water and my bed!! LOL
I went back yesterday for my post-op/consult to see what the game plan was. Boy oh boy did I get a TON of information all at once!!! LOL David was unable to go with me due to work, so it was up to me to retain as much as the information that I could! LOL! So, pretty much we discussed again that IVF is the way to go, and we can start as soon as 2 weeks or so!!!YAY!!! Now we just have to get David in for his few tests that he needs to have, and all our other ducks in a row and we will be good to go!!!!
I'm refusing to let anyone be around me right now that is going to be negative in any shape or form. I know what God's word says about His people when it comes to having children, and I am believing in His words and not the words of man. I have enough troubles keeping out the devils doubts and untruths, so I will not be around anyone who wants to knock this down for us. God will provide!!!
Please keep us in your prayers the next few weeks that this all falls into place! :-)
God Bless,
Randi

Florida!!!
Sorry, it has been a couple of weeks since we have gotten back from our trip to Florida. I'm just now finding the time to share the photos and such since I'm kinda stuck in the bed from surgery on Friday (that I will blog about later)
We had such a good and relaxing time in Panama City Beach Florida with David's family!! It was a very much needed trip or us!! We spent our days playing out in the ocean (yes, yes I got out in the water and even stayed for quite a while! Shocking I know!) Every night a different couple was responsible for making dinner, and it always ended with pie! Lol we would go out and walk on the beach after dinner...this was our routine just about every day!! It was such a wonderful trip, we roomed in the same suite as David's dads and grandparents. I learned that while David may look like his mother, he acts EXACTLY like his Grandfather "Gramps" lol, I'm such a lucky lady for being his wife!! Here are some pictures we took, we also kept with our tradition in doing our anniversary picture (with the # of years we have been married on the chalkboard) on the beach! Hope you guys enjoy all the photos!! I will blog soon about the surgery and all the findings!!
God Bless,
Randi
